Black cat. A smooth porter, full of dark chocolatey malts, now available in three editions with different additions:
4.7% Sabro - Sabro is a lighter take on our classic black cat porter base, hopped with Sabro for subtle citrus and coconut notes 🍋 🥥 🎵
5.5% Coffee - our classic black cat base, with a decent whack of delicious locally roasted coffee
6.7% Blacker Edition - a pumped up, full-bodied porter with smooth chocolate notes and a light roasted coffee finish.
Black Cat was the first beer recipe we really nailed when we were home-brewing in the farmhouse. We have particularly hard water here in this part of the Thames Valley and the delicious dark, acidic malts give the perfect balance. The Cascade and Magnum hops are the base, keeping you coming back for the next sip. Each edition has different additions to finish, creating three delicious but varied beers.
